PFA is proud to be the only club in the area that offers a Annual Developmental Soccer Program for all teams that is managed and executed by the club adminstrators, team managers and coaches. The Annual Program for 2013-14 is posted on the left side of this page.

PFA intends to field the most competitive travel teams possible in every age group and choose players at tryouts that are both talented and committed. The philosophy on tryouts is that the club will hold “open tryouts” at the end of each soccer year to select players for the following soccer year, which begins on 1 August. “Open tryouts” means that existing PFA players are not guaranteed a spot on their existing teams. Existing players must compete among themselves and new candidates at tryouts to earn a spot on the team. Players are selected for teams by the Head Coach, with consensus from the PFA Technical Director, and with the help of player assessments made by independent coaches during tryouts. Existing PFA Teams, Coaches and Managers can be found pasted below and on the links on the left hand side of this page. Players should wear cleats and shin pads, and bring a ball and water.

Competitive Travel Soccer

PFA has recently been described as the "best developmental soccer program" in the Southern Maryland region by US Soccer officials. Players participate in "developmentally appropriate" training activities that are both challenging and fun. We are very proud of what we have accomplished in very short timeframe to raise the bar for the children in our club and our programs. PFA Players are rostered with in the following premier soccer leagues:

PFA provides administration and training opportunities for soccer teams that participate in competitive leagues year around in the Greater Washington DC Capitol area, and in Nationally Ranked tournaments throughout the United States. Our teams and players are affiliated, rostered and carded with US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer and compete in US Club Soccer events.
